This brand guide was created for a training program for Sunbrella sales reps in Latin America but has since become a sort of benchmark for multiple projects because it has proven so useful. It was one of the first big projects where I had the opportunity to aggregate information on our entire range of Sunbrella products, and to write top-level brand language to use as a jumping off point for any conversation about the brand.

Tradeshow Postcard • Sien and Co. for Sunbrella
Sien + Co is an indie brand who we had the opportunity to create a collection with that integrated Sunbrella Renaissance yarns–a special recycled yarn we make. With Sien + Co’s emphasis on “life-proof” fabrics that are backed by sustainable processes, I had a lot of fun bringing their cool, relaxed vibe into the copy for this postcard, created to feature at Maison & Object 2018, an annual international arts and home decor trade show that features Paris Design Week.

Coral & Tusk, an indie company that specializes in embroidered fabrics and keepsakes, partnered with Sunbrella to create a unique, heirloom-quality collection of embroidered Sunbrella performance fabrics. I crafted a design story as part of a collection guide we created to introduce these very special fabrics to designers and manufacturers.
Brand and E-Commerce Launch • rue21
I was recruited to the teen fashion retailer rue21 in 2013 in order to help them launch their first e-commerce site, and in doing so I developed a brand standard and trained additional copywriters.
