I was recruited to the teen fashion retailer rue21 in 2013 in order to help them launch their first e-commerce site, and in doing so I developed a brand standard and trained additional copywriters. rue21’s voice is young and playful, and branded content for them is always a balance of staying relevant while keeping the copy tight.
